Episodes of depression and acute anxiety. That was part of my wife's life for 2 years. Enough tears, panic attacks, darkness and heavy conversations to swallow for a lifetime. Writing this song was a way of coping with all that mess and turning shadows into beauty and hope. I guess this catharsis helped 'cause my love eventually managed to get out of those cold waters. It must be true what they say. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. So cheezy I know. :)
